The Present Evil World

Here's Your Answer!

The Present Evil World, in which we live is under a curse. The curse occurred as a result of Adams transgression. The word of God declares that sin enter into the world:

"wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:" (Romans 5:12)

This once perfect earth, with all its splendor, became cantainated with thorns and thistle. Everything became cursed.

"...Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thysake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;" (Genesis 3:17)

"Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;" (Genesis 3:18)

This present earth has been condemned, and man blames God for the conditions in which he lives, but through careful study of God's word you will find that God is not at fault. The present condition of the earth is not pleasant, but we can rejoice in the hope of the future because we know what God has prepared for us through His son Jesus.

Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:19, "If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable."

The Apostle was saying that we as christians will be miserable if all of our hope in life is on this earth. This world is not the final home for christians. In this present world there is sickness, death, killing, stealing and all manner of unpleasantness. This world is in a chaotic state, and many have lost hope because of these conditions. Many are hopeless without Jesus, But according to God's divine plan, He will restore the corruption of this world to it's former glory and even better.

The hope for all christians is Jesus Christ, and what He has prepared for us in the near future. Don't become dismayed because of the condition of this world. In Corinthians 2:9 Apostle Paul stated:

"But as it is written, eyes hath not seen, nor ear heard. neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him."

We that have hope in God, understand this present earth, with all it's defects. The state of this present world is mentioned in the word of God. All of the sickness, death, upheavals of nature, incurable diseased, domestic problems, and so on are mentioned. A good student of the scriptures know the hour in which we live. There is hope in Jesus for the restoration of this world.

Many look at this world with hopeless, and fearful hearts, saying "what is this world coming too?" My friend, it is coming to an end! This world is full of evil, but there will come a change one day.

This Present Earth according to the Scriptures:

What does the word of God say about this present earth?

1.) Galatians 1:4, Apostle Paul called this a present evil world.

"Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:"

2.) 1 John 5:19, In this epistle John, we find that the whole word lieth in wickedness.

"And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness>." 3.) 1 John 1:16,17, Here John states what is in this present earth, lust and pride."

"For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the father, but is of the world."

Jesus and this Present Earth:

Our Lord made some shocking statements about this present earth. The attitude of our Savior should be that of ourselves.

1.) John 18:36, Here the Lord stated that his kingdom was not of this world.

"Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were if this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence."

2.) John 17:14-16, Here our Lord stated that he was not of this present world, nor those whom his father had given him."

"I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world."

The Commands of God Concerning this Present Earth:

The word of God is clear concerning the attitude we should have toward this present evil world.

1.) 1 John 2:15, We are commanded not to love this world.

"Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father in not in him."

2.) Romans 12:2, We are not to be conformed to this world.

"And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

3.) Titus 2:12, We should live soberly, righteously, and Godly, in this world.

"Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and Godly, in this present world;"

God the Father, has full control of this world; it may not seem that way at times, but God has a divine plan, He sent Heaven's best His Son to die for all of mankind, to deliver us and this present evil world and the bondages of sin and corruption.

God is in control and He is not finish with this world.
